another thing i love about elkie and ben is how much fun they have together. they know how to play & make each other laugh, and they aren’t shy about their affection. well, maybe elkie was a little, but that made them even cuter together. :]
we laughed a lot about the difference in their hands. elkie’s hands were soft and flawless, beautifully adorned with her engagement ring. ben’s hands were the rugged hands of a hard worker, with callouses, scrapes & cuts. i honestly loved the contrast between feminine and masculine, i couldn’t help but photograph them. and why not while holding fresh farm eggs?
the soft light and romantic moments went perfectly together.

elkie and ben, THANK YOU. i know i told you what a fun & awesome time i had, and i meant it! you two are something special. the Lord is going to use you in awesome ways, and i so excited that you are starting this journey together. i can’t wait until june!!
